Job Description
Leading investment management house seeks data management professional with previous people management experience to manage and support securities market data from a business perspective, focussing on either fixed income, equities or derivatives.
This is a hands on role, which will require strong market data knowledge. Responsibilities will include the support of fund management, accounting and trading systems, the control and validation of time series data and the management of daily production and data integrity assignments. Strong communication skills are essential as a key part of the role will be to liaise extensively with data vendors and market dealers to obtain the most effective source of security reference and pricing data. There will also be close liaison with internal client groups and the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a high level of service throughout the organisation.
Additional supervisory responsibilities will include root cause analysis of issues, recruitment, training and performance management, to include setting objectives and conducting appraisals. The ideal individual will have a good eye for detail and will be responsible for process and system improvements, the planning and implementation of change and ensuring the team's commitment to the delivery of exceptional client service.
