Job Description
Prestigious asset Management Company seeks individual to manage the team responsible for reconciliation controls. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that the automated reconciliation process functions effectively and is able to produce accurate and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities include: maintaining the control environment to manage operational risk; management of the accuracy and continuity of data; oversight of changes to the auto-reconciliation process (e.g. tolerances); close working with IT to ensure system optimisation; management and development of staff (including appraisals etc); trend analysis, and monitoring of performance against SLA's.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team and an in-depth knowledge of asset management. A strong understanding of operational risk and automated reconciliations system is also required along with fixed income/equity product knowledge, trend analysis and exception resolution. Knowledge of report writing packages (e.g. crystal reports) and accounting systems is also an advantage.
