Client Manager – ACCA or ACA (Qualified or Finalist)

Our client is a rapidly growing accountancy firm with a modern and proactive approach. Working with owner managed businesses, they help them to grow and achieve their business and personal goals. An opportunity has now arisen for a Client Manager to join their team.

This role would suit a motivated and dynamic ACCA or ACA qualified candidate, (or an ACCA finalist), looking to further their career within an award winning company. This is a good opportunity to work with a varied and broad client base.

As a Client Manager your focus will be on supporting the director in growing the business by ensuring that all client affairs are kept fully up to date and acting as the first point of contact within the company.

In this key role, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining excellent relationships with your clients with the aim of becoming their ‘virtual’ financial director.

Planning your own workload and that of the practice, your responsibilities will include liaising with customers, delegating tasks when appropriate and reviewing all work completed on your client portfolio.

Your other duties will include:

- mentoring trainee accountants
- designing and implementing systems that increases our client’s efficiency
- cross-selling other services whenever possible
- Preparing tax efficient remuneration planning, car tax planning, self assessment returns, P11ds and P35s

To be considered for this position, you must:

- Be an ACCA or ACA finalist or fully qualified
- Have commercial experience gained within the financial services or accounting sector

As a Client Manager you must be client focused with a proactive approach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships are also key.

Whilst not essential, experience of managing a team would be a distinct advantage to your application.

Applicants will be required to travel to Stockport, Greater Manchester for interviews.
