Our client operates Europe’s leading flirting service for people connected to the internet either via PC or mobile phone. The service allows registered members to discover new people and chat with other users. An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join their team.

This role would suit a qualified accountancy professional with management accounting or financial management experience looking to develop their career with a leading company.

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the overall control of the company’s accounting and reporting functions, including establishing systems to ensure these functions operate effectively and efficiently.

Working with the CFO, you will also prepare the company’s annual budget as well as ensuring business lines have defined business models, performance metrics and business plans. Additionally, you will control all corporate finance functions, whilst creating and managing systems to monitor revenues and costs.

You will be tasked with:

- Preparing and finalising weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Ongoing analysis of all financial accounts
- Preparing and finalising monthly external partner revenue and content reports
- Preparing the monthly board pack for presentation
- Ensuring the reporting of internal and external requirements of the business are met

To be considered for the role of Management Accountant, you must have:

- An accountancy qualification
- Experience in a management accounting or financial management position
- Strong knowledge of SAGE or similar

Additionally, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve deadlines and work independently. A positive and logical approach together with a willingness to learn is also key.

Our client also has a preference for candidates with mobile or telecoms billing experience. Advanced level Excel skills would also be beneficial.
