Payroll Administrator - PAYE, SSP, SMP

Our client is an established payroll bureau company based in Hertfordshire, which processes payrolls for 700 clients. An opportunity has now arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.

This role would suit a payroll professional who can work accurately and to tight deadlines. For the right person, this role offers scope for career progression.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for preparing and delivering weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll services to the large and varied client base of the Bureau.

To be considered for the role of Payroll Administrator, you must have payroll experience, ideally gained within a payroll bureau. Good knowledge of PAYE, SSP and SMP is also essential.

As a Payroll Administrator you must have excellent communication skills in order to be able to deal with client queries. An organised approach and the ability to work as part of a team is also key.

Although not essential, previous experience of using Star payroll software would be a distinct advantage to your application. Good Excel skills would also be highly beneficial.
