French Speaking Accounts Payable Clerk - Iver - £23,000-£25,000+ benefits

Our client is a market leader in their field, located in Iver, Middlesex. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced French Speaking Accounts Payable to join their busy Accounts Payable team. The salary for this position is up to £25,000 depending on experience plus fantastic benefits which are detailed below.

Position Summary

-          Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, including the processing and payment of invoices to vendors, and the processing and payment of employee expenses.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  Processing of A/P invoices including data entry, scanning of invoices.

  Processing  and audit of employee expense claims.

  Invoice approval and /or match to PO and/or service and goods receipt

  Accurate maintenance of the A/P ledger

  Proactively review each vendor account that has problematic transactions and work out a resolution   with the third parties.

 Maintain procedures to ensure all processes are documented

 Maintain level of service as agreed with customers in SLA

 Co-ordinate and carry out regular weekly payment runs

Ensure audit compliance

Able to formally reconcile a vendor statement to auditable standard with the SAP ledger and resolve discrepancies

Understand general ledger/accounting processes and targets and contribute effectively to meet the deadlines

Manage performance through metrics and key performance indicators.

 

 

Skills /Competencies/Person Profile

-          3+ years in accounts payable, preferably in European Shared Services  environment

-          GCSE / equivalent - 5 including Maths and English

-          Fluent communicator in French in addition to English

-          SAP accounts payable, MS Office, intermediate excel

-          Behavioural skills required - linked to the core beliefs
