Our client provides cutting-edge products and services to meet the needs of customers discovering, developing and producing biotech drugs, vaccines and classic pharmaceuticals. Their products support faster development of new drugs and vaccines. An opportunity has now arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

For this role, our client is looking for an accountancy professional with experience of using SAP systems, looking to develop their career with a company offering excellent benefits.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely maintenance of the company’s purchase ledger.

In the absence of the Senior Purchase Supervisor, you will also ensure payments to external suppliers are in accordance with agreed payment terms and authorisation limits.

You will be tasked with:

- Reconciling the external supplier statements, authorisation of orders and any incorrect or duplicate payments
- Accurately coding and inputting matched and approved invoices
- Producing and reviewing aged creditor reports

To be considered for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk, you must have:

- Experience gained within a similar accountancy role
- Experience of using a SAP system
- A good level of computer literacy, including proficiency using Word, PowerPoint and Excel

You will also need excellent customer relationship skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Although not essential, knowledge of Loftus Notes would be a distinct advantage to your application.
