Financial Accountant (Part Qual) (6 month Contract) - Bracknell - 25k plus car
Our client is a market leader in their field, located in Bracknell, Berkshire. Due to maternity an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their busy Finance team. The salary for this position is £25,000 + car.
If you have extensive Financial Accounts experience, proficient in Excel Part Qual and good understanding of General Ledger, we would like to hear from you.
This role offers an excellent chance to gain experience in the Financial Accounting team reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller.
Responsibilities include supporting the wider team at month end to produce the monthly results and financial performance of the companies two brands in the UK.
Other responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, contributing towards the monthly and annual financial statements, including making fleet accounting entries.
Monthly responsibilities in include, maintenance of the vehicle fixed asset register, working closely with other internal stakeholders.
You will be able to contribute towards maintaining accurate accounting records, developing new processes to support the operations and overseas shared service centre and strengthening existing financial controls.
This role would develop an individual looking to build upon their existing Finance experience, who is part qualified working towards gaining CIMA or ACCA qualification.
Typical tasks include:
Balance sheet reconciliations
Fixed asset accounting for vehicle fleet
Monthly & Quarterly reporting
Cash flow management
Process improvement
