Accounts Supervisor

Our client is a long established supplier of a diverse range of refrigeration, catering and air conditioning equipment to the wholesale and end user market. They are now looking to recruit an inspirational Accounts Supervisor to join their team.

This role would suit an experienced finance or accounting professional looking to develop their career with a company offering fantastic scope for progression.

As an Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the accounts team and its functions. You will also be responsible for all aspects of credit control, including:

- Chasing over-due debts
- Setting up and maintaining new and existing accounts
- Resolving customer queries
- Cash allocation
- Payment reconciliation
- Assisting and deputising for the management accountant

To be considered for the role of Accounts Supervisor, you must have experience in an accounting or finance role.

Additionally, you must be a confident and effective communicator with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.

Although not essential, an accountancy qualification would be a distinct advantage to your application. Experience of managing a team and knowledge or experience of Pegasus Opera or MS Excel would also be beneficial as would experience of producing accounts up to trial balance.
