Working with top market brands, our client provides cutting-edge social networking services, infrastructure and content to companies and consumers. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Finance Assistant to join their team.

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the finance team in the accurate and timely management and processing of financial transactions.

You will be tasked with:

- Maintaining the supplier ledger
- Allocating cheques and BACS payment, reconciling statements and self billing statements
- Preparing payment runs
- Creating and maintaining POs, setting up suppliers and updating the IT infrastructure purchases list
- Managing the petty cash, sales invoicing, staff expenses and credit card statements
- Providing support for statutory accounts preparation

To be considered for this position, you must have solid experience in a financial role, such as a finance assistant, financial controller or similar. Intermediate Excel skills and a good knowledge of other Windows Office systems, such as Outlook is also key.

Additionally, as a Finance Assistant, you must be self-motivated with a high level of integrity and the initiative and willingness to take on responsibility.

Although not essential, a business or finance qualification, such as a BTEC or diploma (or equivalent), would be a distinct advantage to your application. Experience of using Coda Dream would also be beneficial.
