Our client is Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders. They have been representing senior level professionals since 1906, earning them a trusted reputation as the business network for leadership. An opportunity has now arisen for a Systems Accountant to join their team.

This role would suit a highly motivated IT professional with a strong skill set and experience of providing technical support for financial systems, looking to further their career within a large and successful organisation.

As a Systems Accountant you will be responsible for providing primary accounting systems and IT support, ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner. You will also be expected to undertake some duties as a service desk analyst.

In this key role, you will be tasked with providing 1st line support to all business users. Additionally, you will provide technical and operational support for two financial systems, SUN 4.2.6 and Accounting Office.

Your other details will include:

- Providing technical and operational support for the IPOS purchase order system
- Assisting with both external and internal systems audits
- Generating accruals and deferrals for membership subscriptions
- Providing back end administrative support for the accounting systems

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Have an IT related degree (or equivalent) or proven IT support experience
- Solid experience of working in a finance systems support role
- An advanced knowledge of SUN Accounts (or similar) and SQL Server 2005

As a Systems Accountant you must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to formulate standards and procedures. The ability to work well within a small team is also key.

Whilst not essential, possessing an advanced knowledge of IPOS, Advances Inquiry, Access and Vision Q&A would be a distinct advantage to your application.
