Our client is a small practice of chartered accountants, specialising in international work for overseas customers. They are currently looking to recruit an Accountant / Accountancy Practice Manager to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an accountancy professional looking to manage a practice, as if it is their own.

As an Accountant / Accountancy Practice Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the senior partner in practice management and compliance work.

You will also be required to help build the company up as a local accountancy practice in London by managing the firm and its team.

You will be tasked with:

- Preparing tax returns
- Preparing final statutory accounts
- Corresponding with banks, lawyers, HMRC and relevant professional bodies

To be considered for the role of Accountant / Accountancy Practice Manager, you must have:

- Experience in an accountancy role, gained within a practice
- Fluent English language skills

Additionally, you must be self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic with good personal discipline and presentation.

Although not essential, people management skills would be a distinct advantage to your application.
