Established over ninety years ago, they have grown to become the largest independent accountancy firm in the South West. An opportunity has now arisen for a Tax Senior to join their team.

This role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated candidate with a proven track record in tax compliance and good knowledge of CCH Central Personal Tax, looking to develop their skills with a successful accountancy firm.

As a Tax Senior you will be tasked with assisting in the provision of a first class tax service to a broad range of individual clients.

Reporting to the tax compliance manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of tax cases. Additionally, you will prepare and submit tax returns, P11D and other HMRC forms on a timely basis.

Your other duties will include:

- Corresponding and dealing with client enquires in relation to their personal tax issues
- Providing tax advice to members of the Audit division
- Preparing and submitting personal and partnership tax returns
- Dealing with tax enquires from HMRC

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Experience of tax compliance
- Good knowledge of CCH Central Personal Tax (previously known as Pertax)
- A high level of computer literacy, including a proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook

As a Tax Senior you must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels. A high level of accuracy and the ability to work to your own initiative is also key.

Although not essential, possessing an AAT, ATT or an equivalent qualification would be a distinct advantage to your application.
