Management Accountant / Commercial Analyst – CCAB Part-Qualified/QBE
Twickenham, Middlesex
Up to £35,000 DOE
Our client is part of one of the world’s largest internationally networked media and communication service providers. They work with brands to help them build long-term loyalty with customers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Management Accountant / Commercial Analyst to join their team.
This role would suit a CCAB part-qualified individual with financial control experience looking to develop their career with a company offering scope for progression.
As a Management Accountant / Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining reports on the company and its client’s financial performance on a monthly basis.
Supporting the operational managers in regards to their budgets, you will provide ‘common sense’ commercial advice, whilst supporting new bids, purchasing and investment proposals. You will also be required to ensure adequate financial controls are in place.
You will be tasked with:
- Managing all journals to support the production of monthly reports
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget
- Updating and improving the existing client profitability models
- Preparing pricing for existing and new clients
- Reviewing the company’s payroll, purchase orders, invoices, expenses and emergency payments
To be considered for the role of Management Accountant / Commercial Analyst, you must:
- Be CCAB part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Have financial control experience
- Possess experience of costing and pricing within the service industry
- Have double entry experience with a good understanding of debits and credits
Additionally, you must possess excellent IT skills, including proficiency using Excel, Word and SAP. Fantastic interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and develop strong and effective relationships is also key.
Although not essential, CCAB finalists or applicants who are CCAB qualified (or equivalent) will have a distinct advantage to their application.
