Purchase Ledger Assistant
Luton, Bedfordshire
£19,000 Plus Bonus, Pension
Our client is a pan European airline operating over 400 routes with over 175 aircraft in 27 countries. An opportunity has now arisen for a European Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary or permanent basis.
For this role, our client is looking for a highly organised individual with data and administration experience looking to develop their career with a leading company.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s invoices are consistent with the data held on their systems and any inconsistencies are investigated, communicated and resolved.
You will be tasked with:
- Inputting data rates from supplier invoices into the company’s checking system
- Ensuring operational data variances are communicated and resolved
- Issuing credit request notes to suppliers and confirming credit notes are received
- Identifying and recommending process changes
- Updating the invoice checking spreadsheet
To be considered for the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant, you must have:
- Data experience
- Administration experience
Additionally, you must possess an analytical and methodical approach with good attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team and on your own initiative are also key.
Although not essential, a finance background would be a distinct advantage to your application.
