European Payroll Administrator
Luton, Bedfordshire
£24,000 Plus Bonus, Pension
Our client is a pan European airline operating over 400 routes with over 175 aircraft in 27 countries. An opportunity has now arisen for a European Payroll Administrator to join their team.
For this role, our client is looking for a payroll professional with an awareness of UK legislation looking to develop their career with a leading company.
Travelling to bases within and outside of the UK, as a European Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end payroll processing for employees, using the in-house system and external providers.
Actively supporting payroll requirements across all business areas, you will implement a systematic and timely approach to payroll administration to increase efficiency and maintain high standards.
You will be tasked with:
- Ensuring all payroll deadlines are adhered to
- Administering and maintaining statutory recoveries and pension contributions
- Producing information using the system report writer
- Ensuring the integrity of payroll data
- Identifying policy improvement opportunities
To be considered for the role of European Payroll Administrator, you must have high volume payroll administration experience, including overseeing a range of terms and conditions, preferably in a retail, local government or transport environment. You must also have:
- Experience of UK payroll administration
- Excellent UK legislative awareness, including taxation and national insurance
- The ability to manage complex payroll with numerous pay elements
Additionally, you must possess outstanding communication and numeracy skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. A high degree of IT literacy, including proficiency using Word, Excel and Outlook is also key.
Although not essential, European payroll experience would be a distinct advantage to your application.
