Our client is a Top 20 Chartered Accountancy organisation with a Group Head Office based at Tower Hill in London. An opportunity has now arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their business advisory services department.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious accountant with audit and taxation experience looking to further their career with a leading accountancy firm.

As Audit & Accounts Senior you will be responsible for providing a range of accounting, taxation and management services to a highly diverse portfolio of clients. Primarily working with SMEs, you will also look after the business affairs of very small companies such as sole-traders and small partnerships and additionally some large international groups.

In this role, approximately 40% of your time will be spent working on audits with the remainder being given over to taxation and accounting work. There will also be the opportunity to audit some large businesses with more complex, technical requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must possess an ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent). You must have demonstrable post-qualification experience of audits, accountancy and taxation, such as corporation tax, PAYE and P11d, gained within a UK accountancy firm or under UK GAAP.

As a Senior in the department you must be an excellent communicator with a highly professional approach and experience of monitoring costs and ensuring jobs are brought in on budget and to the required timescales. A good working knowledge of quickbooks, ProAudit and Sage is advantageous but not essential.
