Assistant Accountant – Accountancy Practice

Circa £25,000 DOE Plus Free Parking

Our client is a well established accountancy firm based in Leeds. Offering a range of services, they work with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. An opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

For this role our client is looking to recruit a self motivated accountancy professional with experience in a practice environment to take responsibility for the accounts of SMEs.

Joining their small, close-knit team, as an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for preparing accounts, tax return completions, and taking accounts to trial balance.

To be considered, you must have the following requirements:

- qualified to at least AAT
- experience of working in an accountancy practice
- the ability to take accounts to final reports and trial balance
- Sage Line 50 & accounts production experience

Additionally, as the Assistant Accountant you will also have the ability to supervise junior members of staff.

The ideal candidate will also be a good communicator with a self motivated approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.
