Job Description
My client is a leading contractor within the defence sector. They are actively searching a for a business unit controller for a key business unit.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the for the provision of a comprehensive financial management services including programme financial management, proposals and pricing, financial advice and guidance, forecasting and budgeting. Being a qualified accountant you will be an experienced Senior Finance Manager with extensive and proven post qualification experience, including an excellent working knowledge of long-term programme and general accounting requirements. Defence program experience would be advantageous however more importantly you will have the ability to understand and analyse complex business issues across export, manufacturing, long term projects and service/support activities, recommending/delivering value-added financial advice and information- Andrew Varty
