Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant - Part Qualified, ACCA, CIMA
Croydon, Surrey

Our client is one of the UK's leading names in buildings insurance, tenant referencing and related products. Made up of a number of different brands, they offer truly specialist, tailored services. An opportunity has now arisen for a Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join their team.
This is a high profile role within a dynamic company and will be excellent experience for someone looking to develop a career within financial services
As a Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant, you will be working for the central corporate headquarters within a complex group, who are looking to grow both organically and by acquisition.
Responsible for assisting with day to day operations, your main duties will include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with purchase ledger processes
- Preparing analysis of accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with draft weekly cash flow reports for review
To be considered for the role of Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant, you will need:
- To be part qualified in ACCA or CIMA
- Some accounting experience
- A degree (or equivalent)
Additionally, you should have strong Excel skills, an excellent attention to detail and be very organised. You also need to be able to work independently to tight deadlines, when required.
