My client is a medium size, privately owned business operating within the residential development sector. Following a recent period of consolidation, improving market conditions mean they are now looking to recruit a talented individual to the role of  Finance Director.

Within the role you report into the Managing Director and act as a key member of the board in planning and developing the business and giving strategic direction. You will ensure that finance and accounting requirements are accurately and efficiently carried out in accordance with recognised accounting standards, company requirements and within set deadlines and challenge and encourage fellow directors to achieve and exceed the financial performance laid out in the business plan/budget.

To succeed in the role you will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record of achievement within a senior finance role. Prior experience within the residential development or main contracting sectors is essential as are excellent communication skills.
