Senior Practice Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
London NW11
£50,000 - £60,000 Plus 28 Days' Holiday (including bank holidays)
Our client has grown rapidly to become an established accountancy practice based in North London. As one of the leading practices for owner-managed businesses, they serve a select client base ranging from limited companies to sole traders with turnovers exceeding six figures. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Practice Accountant.
For this role our client is looking to recruit a senior Accountant with a practice background, to take responsibility for managing their partners' portfolios and meeting the exacting standards required.
Working alongside another manager, as the Senior Practice Accountant your duties will include accounts production, conducting audits and reviewing work before it is sent to partners. You will also be responsible for managing the workflow of the practice and guiding staff.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- have solid commercial experience gained within an accountancy practice
- have a track record of managing a team
- have current knowledge of auditing standards
As the Senior Practice Accountant, you should also be an excellent communicator with an organised approach, commercial acumen and excellent time management skills. You must also have advanced level Excel skills and experience of using Sage and ideally, Iris.
The ideal candidate will be extremely capable, proactive and a quick learner, who is presentable and able to liaise with both clients and staff.
