Group Finance Director – ACCA, CIMA (Manufacturing)
Brighton
£60,000+ DOE Plus Pension, Life Insurance, Private Medical Insurance, 25 Days’ Holiday
Our client is an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturer with offices in the UK and North East China. They are now looking to appoint a Group Finance Director with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Joining the newly formed Board of Directors, as the Group Finance Director you will be tasked with helping to deliver the business vision of substantial growth over the next 3-5 years.
This is a senior appointment in which you will assume responsibility for financial operations for both the UK and China manufacturing operations. When required, you will be required to provide reliable and sound financial advice and support to the board.
You will also:
- Develop and implement accounting controls and procedures
- Develop financial plans and forecast within the company
- Proactively work with sales and operations to drive profit and working capital improvement
- Act as Company Secretary and liaise with auditors and statutory bodies as required
To be considered for this position you must have solid accountancy experience from within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will also be a qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
As the Group Finance Director you must have the proven ability to build excellent working relationships with non-finance staff and be able to lead and develop the Finance department. Experience dealing at board level would be beneficial to your application.
