Job Description
Finance Analyst (Telecoms Industry), London, £25k
Position: Toll Free Finance Analyst
Location: London
Salary: £25k per annum (pro rata)
Type: 3 month fixed term contract
COMPANY:
Our client is one of the industry's largest prepaid phone card company's, with three main centres of operation: the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Our client concentrates its expertise in four main product categories: retail prepaid calling cards, wholesale carrier services, mobile services and payment products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Ensure Supplier’s invoices are received, recorded in purchase ledger, reconciled and paid with due dates
b) Raising enquiries with Operational Support and the Purchase Manager of Toll Free.
c) The ability to understand and breakdown call data for reconciliation.
d) Contact suppliers to request breakdown details and CDR data.
e) Communicating remittance and disputes on a timely manner to suppliers.
f) The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial management.
g) Agree settlement balances with the supplier.
h) Dealing with supplier contract enquiries.
i) Investigation of invoices and communication with the Legal team regarding identified disputes.
j) To assist Management with any ad hoc reports they may need.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
a) Experience in dealing with customer enquiries
b) Experience with multiple currencies and rates VAT.
c) Be experienced in building, running and understanding of Access reports.
d) Basic knowledge of accounting systems using AP and AR ledgers.
e) Good understanding of Excel.
f) Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
g) Be a proactive individual with a pragmatic approach towards dealing with challenges
h) PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
i) Have the ability to work on to work on your own with minimal direction.
You may have experience in the following roles: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst, Credit Control, Credit Controller, Assistant Finance Controller, Finance Assistant, Financial Assistant, Part-Qualified Accountant, Accounts Assistant, etc
