Job Description
This is an excellent Management Accountant job, based in Oxford.
The role will see the candidate supporting the Finance Director in a business partnering relationship with Directors and Managers. Other support must be provided to the financial services function and contribute to a comprehensive, high quality and cost-effective provision. This includes managing processes for Treasury Management, Credit Control and final Statutory Accounts.
This role will involve having an overview of the budgets and working alongside the financial management function.
SKILLS:
- Developing Key Performance Indicators (PI) and benchmarks for service activity
- Overseeing the financial accounting service and manage the ledger feeds from all accounting systems.
- Managing Payroll data systems interface, clearance of suspense items and controls download of transactions to the general ledger.
- Preparing and processing journals as required in order to meet month end and year end deadlines.
- Assisting in the production of the statutory accounts
- Producing Annual Statutory Accounts.
- Producing new costings as required for the Management.
- Overseeing agreement of creditors and debtors balances and transactions and report this information as required.
- Act as line manager for staff within the financial services team, including involvement in recruitment, reviews, supervision and disciplinary matters as required.
