Job Description
Our Client a top tier Investment Bank is looking to recruit a qualified accountant for this role of Energy Product Controller. You will need to display extensive Product Control experience as you will be assisting in running of the Energy Product Control function and so will need to be able to hit the ground running.
Your responsibilities will include daily P&L production and explanation for the European and Asian Energy Desk, monthly price verification and reconciliations for the General Ledger, FOBO and Balance Sheet.
It is essential for this role that you can display extensive prior knowledge of these functions, have strong Excel skills and have previous experience of working within and Investment Bank, Trading House or Energy Company. Although not essential, it is preferable that you have experience of commodities, ideally around Energy.
