Job Description
How would you like to secure a general practice opportunity which would allow you to spend the first 6-12 months abroad with a high quality ex-pat lifestyle all paid for; plus the added security of returning to the UK thereafter with a permanent practice role and the prospect of an equity stake in a highly innovative and successful outsourcing business?
ABPM present this outstanding opportunity to work with the MD (ex big four), of a highly successful 3 year old business, providing outsourced book-keeping; statutory reporting and management accounting services to a vast client base of over 40 UK accountancy practices.
The opportunity shall begin in an affluent area of India; whereby you shall be responsible for providing technical training on UK standards, accounts file set up, and other quality guidance to a set of Managers at the India base; who supervise the activities of 200 more junior accountants. A 3 bedroom house shall be provided as part of the package, with a swimming pool, a driver and transport.
After 6-12 months you shall then return to an office in Yorkshire; whereby you shall manage the technical and quality aspects of the Indian function from afar with occasional visits to India as necessary; and assist the MD in the future growth of this business.
The candidate will have a solid accounts preparation background with at least 3 years relevant post-qualification experience in practice; and a good degree of coaching and supervisory experience.
