Job Description
Based in Reading, Berkshire our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Manager. This Finance Manager job is responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function of a division of a multinational company.
This role will provide support and guidance for the two strong finance department. The successful candidate will need multi-currency experience and will prepare the monthly profit & loss accounts and balance sheets for the division. This role will report to the Group finance Controller and liaise with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts
- Oversee the divisional balance sheet reconciliations
- Adhere to SOX procedures and practices - with regards to General ledge accounting
- VAT returns
- Oversee and monitor Intercompany transaction
Key skills:
- Accountancy qualification
- Multicurrency experience
- SOX experience a benefit
- US GAAP experience a benefit
- Strong communication skills
