Job Description
Based in Reading, Berkshire our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Manager. This Finance Manager job is being recruited on a temp to perm basis.
Accountabilities
- Managing the finance team (4), acting as a coach and source of advice on all finance related issues encouraging them to greater understanding and ownership of finance-related activities, intervening where necessary to improve financial processes or performance.
- Financial accounting responsibility for all financial transactions on the purchase ledger, sales ledger, debtors/credit control, fixed asset and general ledgers.
- Management accounting;
·Sales & Profit reporting and analysis for all RSSL.
·Produce periodic Management accounting reports and distribute to RSSL.
·Manage the Forecast and Contract process for whole company.
Pre-requisites
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
- Professional accounting qualification
- Excel, SAP & Hyperion advanced usage
- Hands on approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Hands on approach
