Job Description
Due to great success and further growth, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Manager for their highly ambitious indirect tax team. The Indirect tax team provides advice and support to a broad range of businesses and organisations on all aspects of Indirect tax including VAT, customs duty, excise duty, insurance premium tax, landfill tax, climate change levy, air passenger duty and aggregates levy. As the day to day contact for clients you will maintain and develop client relationships, advising on all indirect tax issues; working with managers within tight deadlines and assisting junior members of the team.
Projects range from one-off initiatives providing bespoke solutions to specific problems, through to advising countries that are introducing VAT systems for the first time. One thing is guaranteed: this indirect tax practice offers a wide variety of opportunities.
You must have strong UK indirect tax knowledge and advisory experience. Ideally with a professional qualification (ATT/CTA). You are likely to be working in either the public sector, at a top law firm or a leading firm of accountants. However, if you have gained relevant 'in-house' experience at a major organisation, we would also like to hear from you.
