Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a semi senior currently working in an accountancy role in practice to make the transition across to Tax and specialising in one of the most important and exciting environments.
This Top 20 firm delivers a broad range of accountancy and tax services to a vast range of clients, ranging from media to banking and education to the public sector.
Due to the firms' success they are looking to expand the team and are therefore looking for an enthusiastic team player who is ambitious to learn and develop their career.
The role:
Preparation of trust and estate accounts.
Collation and reconciliation of information required.
Posting entries onto computerised accounting system.
Calculation of trustees/executors taxes.
Checking and reconciling draft accounts produced and preparing review notes.
Completion of tax returns, checking and agreeing tax calculations, filing signed tax returns.
Trust administration such as arranging tax payments and circulating cheques.
As this company pride themselves on the training and supportive environment they do offer applicants need not have previous trust experience (although of course it is always desired). An accountancy/audit background within an accountancy firm coupled with the want to pursue tax as a career provides the perfect grounding for this role.
