Job Description

Are you an accountant with a history of VAT looking to take the next step in your career? If the answer is yes then this may be the opportunity for you. One of our key clients in the public sector is looking to recruit a VAT specialist based in the Leicestershire area. This is a senior level position where you will use your previous experience of VAT to advise key stakeholders in the business on the implications of decisions and subsequent costs to the organisation. This position will be project based and you will play a key role providing accounting support to strategic decisions within each project and advising on legitimate methods to reduce VAT. Daily interaction will be with department heads up to and including director level so you must have the technical knowledge of VAT, coupled with the drive and personality to affect decisions at this level.
