Job Description
The world's leading specialist in corporate turnaround, restructuring and recovery provides an outstanding opportunity for a newly qualified or soon to be qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant to embark on a prestigious and progressive insolvency career.
The individual shall work on a variety of formal insolvency engagements; assisting in the development of more junior members of the team. The role is office based.
The opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and committed individual with a desire to learn.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with a good degree or CPI qualification. You will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles; and a corporate insolvency background of at least 2 years is essential.
The job will comprise the following duties, which is not an exhaustive list:
- day to day management and progression of a variety of cases;
- preparation of financial information;
- preparation of written reports for creditors and other stakeholders;
- conduct of investigations into companies affairs;
- take appropriate action on recovering assets;
- deal with litigation issues;
- assist in practice development projects such as internal training, presentations and the production of marketing literature;
- conduct meetings with solicitors, directors, agents, company managers, creditors, as well as assist senior colleagues involved in more complex negotiations;
- maintain the case IPS system;
