Job Description
My Client, a medium sized manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Leeds, are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager. You will be supervising a team of 3 Purchase Ledger Clerks.
Your duties will include:
Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Posting of payments on a timely basis to ensure unallocated cash is kept to a minimum
Ensuring invoices have the proper authorisation before posting and payment
Posting to nominal ledger within given time scales in line with the production of management accounts
Continual overview of the systems with a view to making recommendations for improvements
You must be:
Friendly
Outgoing
Motivated by successfully achieving personal and team objectives
Work under your own initiative
Have over 2 years experience in purchase ledger with a good knowledge of bookkeeping and reconciliation
Your duties will include:
