Job Description
An Advertising company based in the London Bridge area are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team of 12 based at their head office overlooking the Thames. Established over 15 years ago and well known within their industry and with operations based in Europe as well, this is a growing company with many opportunities available to employees for further career development.
The role has become available due to the current incumbent leaving to go travelling and they are anticipating a start date of early January 2009. They have stressed that the right candidate for the role must be at a certain level with both experience and qualifications. The duties of the role are listed below and candidates wishing to apply for the position must have experience with these duties.
Duties of the role:
- Weekly sales forecast
- Monthly trade sales valuation
- Monthly analysis of trade margin & remainder/pulping profit/loss
- Posting monthly management accounts journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals & Prepayments - depreciation
- Monthly P&L's profitability analyses
- Assist with budgets/forecasts
- Other ad-hoc analysis
- Must be part qualified ACCA/CIMA Benefits:
- 23 days holiday

- Season ticket loan
- Gym membership
- Study Support Only candidates that have the relevant experience will be considered for this role.
