Job Description
This role at a thriving property management company based in central Guildford is for an accounts assistant in a varied position to assist in the department on an ongoing basis with the potential to become a permanent role. The company has a fantastic office suite located right in the heart of Guildford and the accounts team has a relaxed culture making this company a great place to work.
This role offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to work in a highly profitable organisation in a lively and exciting environment. The role is varied and will provide the candidate with a chance to work alongside a senior team member and get involved in most aspects of the finance function up to management accounts level.
The vacancy will require the candidate to be involved in a variety of tasks including:
- Processing invoices and entering on to the sales ledger
- Matching and allocating bank receipts to the sales ledger
- Producing aged debtor reports
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices on the purchase ledger
- Weekly and monthly payment runs
- Agreeing monthly control accounts to nominal ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Cashbooks The Company uses Sage Line 100 in their accounts team so experience of this system is preferred but not essential.
