Job Description
Would you like to work for one of the big four and set your accountancy career soaring?
A big four client is currently seeking highly competent audit executives to join both its teams in Leeds and Manchester.
You will be a newly qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant, or have a maximum of one year's post qualification experience. You will also have a good degree and A-levels and have worked in an audit department within practice for at least 3 years.
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- effective management of the audit process; with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters;
- lead and manage fieldwork on clients sites including liaison with other firm departments;
- assist in business development and the identification of broader firm opportunities;
- demonstration of expertise in primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP or IFRS) and in related reporting matters;
- demonstration of expertise in using GAM to perform an assurance engagement in compliance with auditing standards;
- identification of areas requiring improvement in the clients' business processes and possible recommendations; and prepare and deliver Management Letter.
- coaching of less experienced staff on audit engagements
