Job Description

Our highly prestigious and globally renowned client requires a Financial Audit and Risk Manager to provide effective and value-added assurance and advisory service to the Group through a combination of risk assessment, operational audit reviews, project assurance, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and other project reviews. This high profile position will require you to perform international travel to the clients subsidiaries. Through building close working relationships with senior management teams you will manage the delivery and development of audit programmes designed to resolve key issues that have been identified during reviews. Working with business management and other staff to position the audit function as a real alternative to third party consultancy services. It is essential that you possess a self confident character and the ability to work effectively with and command the respect of senior executives. Excellent inter-personal skills coupled with a sound understanding of controls, risks and their application to the business environment are pre-requisites. You must also display good influencing and negotiation skills in addition to excellent report writing skills including the direct delivery of reports to Director level.
