Job Description
Based in Reading, Berkshire our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant. This amazing job opportunity is perfect for someone with proven cost accountant experience. This job has opened up within one of Readings most respected employers. This large international company is well known for career progression and taking great care to nurture and develop new employees.
This role will sit within group finance and as well as providing management accounts information will manage three direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly and other periodic management reporting, including analysis of variances
- Improve initiative in data quality, availability and efficiency of production
- Supervise the activity of three direct reports
- Preparation of G&A and capital expenditure budgets and forecasts
- Maintenance of the SAP cost allocation process
- Ensure compliance of internal controls
- Co-ordinate the annual review by external auditors and independent consultants of corporate cost allocation and time writing
- Lead, contribute or be part of a team working on various finance and cross functional improvements to G&A reporting
