Job Description
A leading Pharma company based in West Dublin is urgently seeking an experience internal auditor to join their team. The job will involve the completion and reporting of audits at a divisional level in accordance with audit plans approved by the Audit Committee and will require approximately 50% travel within Ireland/UK/Europe and the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
. Completion of operational and financial audits and the identification and documentation of control weaknesses and agreed action plans to address weaknesses identified
. Development of Business Control Assessment checklists and related work programmes
. Performance of follow up reviews to assess the extent to which recommendations and action plans identified in previous audits have been addressed
. Review of current procedures and practices against those documented in Group Policies or individual business units Financial Controls Manuals
Key Competencies:
. A thorough understanding of auditing practices and procedures
. A good knowledge of the principles of internal control
. A working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
. Qualified accountant with previous experience of external/statutory audit
