Job Description
An Accounts Assistant is required urgently to join a small and friendly Accounts function to provide maternity cover for a minimum of 6 months. Reporting to the Finance Director the position covers payables duties including coding and posting invoices, reconciling statements, payment runs, query resolution and employee expenses, and credit control and invoicing, also bank reconciliations, VAT preparation and assisting with month end and other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate must have a wide range of accounting skills as the role will require you to be very adaptable. You must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to use your own initiative. It is imperative that you have strong IT skills including Excel.
My Client is a successful service provider based in Levenshulme that is proud to boast a friendly working environment with comfortable offices and free parking available onsite. This role is initially for 6 months with the possible chance of extension beyond this.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
