Job Description
My client is a rapidly expanding service provider based within Manchester. The business, a subsidiary of a major blue-chip organisation has experienced impressive growth over the last couple of years, with further growth envisaged over the coming years.
Currently, the Finance Director has responsibility for all accounting matters on behalf of the business, whilst managing a large support team. He is looking to appoint a dedicated, commercially-minded accountant to provide ongoing support.
The role will involve the production of the management and financial accounts, managing the business cash-flow whilst reviewing current processes and procedures with the aim of increasing overall productivity and efficiency. There are genuine opportunities for progression within the business, and they are looking to appoint someone capable of moving into the Departmental Number 1 role in the coming years.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent track record of progression with an analytical mentality, ideally gained within a transactional-based business; although not a pre-requisite.
