Job Description
Personal Tax Senior job, London; This 24 partner firm has a strong international tax bias, with over 50% of the fees being generated through clients involved in inward investment. Owing to growth, an opportunity has arisen to join the firm in the personal tax department in a progressive and developing role.
Purpose
To oversee all aspects of personal tax affairs within the allocated portfolio of clients, working alongside other departments including FPD, Trust department and various Partners within the firm.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for a general portfolio of clients which differ in client type;
· Delegation of work to junior staff, supervising and training as appropriate
· Deal with the annual returns of all allocated clients ensuring all are compliant with tax regulations;
· Respond to all day to day issues/queries from the clients and referring on where appropriate;
· Liase with Inland Revenue and client on all personal tax issues;
· Provide tax advice to clients which may include legislative changes or tax efficient advice where appropriate;
· Responsible for providing consistent and quality client service which include maintaining regular client contact i.e. face to face meetings, e-mail correspondence and telephone liaison;
· Assist with P11D reviews when required;
· Assisting with ad hoc project work during quieter periods;
· Responsible for referring clients to other parts of the firm where appropriate i.e. FPD/Pensions;
