Job Description
Based in Galsgow, our client a reputable, market leading business, has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Systems Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Main duties will include:
- Managing all aspects of data integrity sourced from various financial systems.
- Proactively develop Chart of Accounts, to facilitate better subsidiary and group wide reporting.
- As part of the Core Project Team - identify impact of other business areas processes and evaluate impact on finance.
- Ensure system functionality to enable consolidation of results for submission to group, with explanations of variances on P&L/Balance Sheet & Cash flow.
- Assist with the documentation of financial process and procedures agreed on the ERP project.
- Implementation of all Finance modules within IFS - Cash & Banking, Accounts Receivable/Payable Fixed Assets, General Ledger and VAT
- Post Go Live, seek to improve the finance processes and modules of IFS
- Act as finance centre of expertise for all systems. Ideal candidates will be qualified, will posses IFS experience and will preferably have been involved in implementation, testing and reporting.
Furthermore you will be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and will thrive working within a fast paced environment and to tight deadlines.
