Job Description
An exclusive service company based in South West London with a small finance team of 4 is looking to expand its team.
Main Duties
· Responsible for the purchase and sales ledgers
· Process invoices and reconcile with tour operator statements and chase suppliers or sales staff for purchase invoices
· Preparation of Remittance Advices for all payments validating purchase invoices
· Reconcile payments on account on an ongoing basis
· Carry out Job Costing and profit and loss on a booking by booking basis
· Investigate any abnormal profit margins on a booking by booking basis
· Preparation and data entry of Sales Invoices
· Chasing Customers for overdue marketing invoices and chasing payments
· Credit Control functions includes chasing agents for payments as per agreed due dates
· Process credit card payments and refunds and general ledger
· Checking, filing and assisting with general administration including costing analysis
· Prepare and carry out daily banking plus multi-currency bank reconciliations
· Upkeep of general Finance filing and maintenance of the archiving
· Carry out data entry of petty cash payments
· General Ledger reconciliations to be carried out on an ongoing basis
· Provide Accruals and prepayments schedule
· Assist in preparation of year end audit files
· Assisting in other project work or adhoc assignments
· Issue of weekly and monthly reports on debtors, cash flow and sales performances
· Assist in management accounts preparation
Reports to: Head of Finance.
Working with two other members of staff, it is hoped the successful candidate will take on responsibility for overseeing them as well as taking on additional tasks including management accounts

kills/Experience Required
Numerate, Tidy and organised with a confident telephone manner and a good team player
Educated to GCSE Level and AAT qualified or finalist. At least 8 years experience in an office environment,
Word, Excel competent must include Pivot Tables and VLook ups
Experience working with databases MS Access
Experience working with accounting systems like SAGE Line 50
Attention to detail and accuracy is very important and an integral part of the job
