Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and qualified fund accountant, with strong exposure to property or real estate private equity funds to join this leading West End based boutique in a unique, technically challenging & client facing role. Your role will be to manage all fund and management accounting for a portfolio of UK and European real estate private equity funds, with likely supervisory responsibilities for one part qualified accountant. You will liaise with the CFO and financial team of the funds, third parties (including auditors) and any other external advisors necessary to ensure all issues are resolved and deadlines met. There will also be a number of other responsibilities including tracking the financial performance of the fund and assisting with calls, distributions and other ad hoc investor reporting queries. In time, ample opportunity will be provided for you to develop your career along the lines you want, be that down a technical or staff management route. Past experience has shown that this role is best suited to someone who is likely to have qualified recently (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with previous experience in a fund accounting role and strong exposure to UK/US GAAP, IFRS, SORP etc... We would also welcome applicants from Top 4 backgrounds with strong fund auditing experience who are keen to fast-track their career into a specialist sector within fund management.
