Job Description
To act as the key interface between the Company and the third party payroll provider (ICS) to ensure that all payroll matters are processed and dealt with in an accurate, consistent and timely manner so that queries from the provider to the business are few and that queries from the business/ relevant external parties to the provider are quickly resolved.
In essence, the job holder will be the first point of contact in the resolution of all payroll matters both internally and externally
Responsible for ensuring that all monthly and year end payroll needs/changes are forwarded to the third party payroll provider in an accurate format and timely manner.
This will require the job holder to process items such as:
§ Promotions
§ Joiners
§ Leavers (across a range of circumstances)
§ Pension deductions/payments
§ Payment of expenses which will have been sanctioned by finance etc.
· Act as the first point of contact/ reference for the third party provider in respect of any payroll related matter/issue. Equally to be recognised within Airwave as the initial point of contact for employees with regard to their payroll questions.
· Assist HR BP and senior management with any payroll related issues/ questions.
· Verifying the calculations that are made in respect of leavers including both dismissals and redundancies.
· Keeping up to date with all relevant legal changes/ alterations so that any such changes in process, procedures etc occur in a timely manner.
· Act as the first point of contact for government and legal agencies such as HMRC, Child Support Agency etc in respect of payroll matters and questions.
