Management Accountant / Business Analyst - Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
Central London

As a leading provider of domain names and Internet-related services, our client has registered hundreds of thousands of domain names and hosts thousands of websites. With a wide range of services, their clients come from many industries and include over 30% of the FTSE 100. Due to their current success, they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant / Business Analyst to join their team.
For this position our client is seeking a candidate who is either part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience to play a key role.
As the Management Accountant / Business Analyst you will be responsible for both management accounting and business support duties. This position will require both your previous experience in a similar position, and your ability to explain finance and business analysis matters to non-financial audiences.
Your duties will include:
- positing regular monthly journals and producing detailed monthly management accounts
- preparing year-end accounts for audit and cash flow forecasts
- providing Directors and Managers with management information and analysis
- providing performance analysis and identifying key operational and process improvements
- providing management performance, cost analysis interpretation and profitability analysis
You will also have budgeting and forecasting tasks which will include preparing models and reviewing the budgetary methodology, and acting as Finance Support to the Executive Team.
To succeed in this position you must have previous commercial experience in a similar accountancy or business analysis role. You must also be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience (QBE).
As the Management Accountant / Business Analyst you will also need to demonstrate the ability to build relationships at all levels within the business, advanced knowledge of Excel and strong business modelling skills. Your excellent communication skills and high level of systems literacy (i.e. ability to interrogate databases) is also vital.
