Job Description
Based in Glasgow, our client, a leading international manufacturing business, has an exciting new job opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager to join their dynamic management team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller your main duties will include:
- Financial responsibility for 2 production sites
- Providing financial support and challenge to the Operations management team
- Financial management of the entire supply chain
- Rigourous challenge of the cost base across all operational activities
- Production of business case for all capital expenditure
- Review and improvement of the process supporting stock control
- Month end accounting
- Regular forecasting & budgeting
- Weekly and monte KPI reporting on manufacturing activity
- Accurate product costing
- Undertaking extensive financial analysis to aid commercial decision making Ideal candidates should be qualified with experience of working within the manufacturing sector, posses a confident, customer focused approach and the ability to build robust relationships with Operations Management.
