Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager and the US based CFO you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial accounts and management reports to agreed deadlines, periodic budgets & forecasts, and maintaining or improving internal controls. With responsibility for the supervision 5 staff, you will oversee accounts payable and receivable; bank reconciliations; treasury management; preparation of VAT, tax and statutory returns; processing of the monthly payroll.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant or QBE with a strong financial accounting background. You will have previous commercial exposure and experience of managing accounting staff, with good communication and motivational skills. You will also have good IT knowledge and experience of developing and implementing new systems and processes to improve reporting. Experience of European trade within a multi-company/multi-currency operation would also be an advantage.
